Apr 21, 2026The Majestic Hotel Saigon is a renowned 5-star hotel in Saigon, known for its classic French architecture. It is situated at the corner of Dong Khoi and Ton Duc Thang streets, next to Bach Dang Wharf in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
Throughout its nearly century-long existence, the Majestic Hotel has witnessed and been a part of many historical changes in Saigon. It continues to be a symbol of the luxurious and splendid lifestyle of old Saigon, maintaining its elegance and grandeur to this day.
In late 2025, the Investor made the decision to upgrade the hotel’s business telephone exchange system at Cuu Long Hotel (Majestic), with a focus on advanced PBX features suitable for a luxury hotel environment. The Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise (OXE) communication system was chosen for its ability to meet all of the stringent requirements.
The system includes a wide range of professional features, such as Hotel Property Management System (PMS) integration and OmniPCX Recording DRLink digital recording via PCM-R2 interface. These features serve the reservation department and customer care services, further enhancing the hotel’s service quality.
The OmniPCX Enterprise system was officially tested, accepted, handed over, and put into operation during the first quarter of 2026.
