COMTEL (Italia) finalises the acquisition of the unified communication division of NEC corporation on July 2025.
The transaction involves all the activities of the UC division in the EMEA area.
NEC ITALIA changes its name to COMTEL INNOVATION, NEC NEDERLAND becomes COMTEL INTERNATIONAL, positioning the Comtel brand also in the foreign markets of EMEA and APAC.
COMTEL is fully committed to support the NEC systems such as SL2100 – UNIVERGE SV9100 – UNIVERGE SV9300 – UNIVERGE SV9500 and solutions according to the NEC announced plan. The NEC families for UC are listed here above and for each of them COMTEL will make available software support (Software Assurance – SWA) and software license expansions till 2030.
With extensive experience and a long history of implementing NEC systems and solutions in Vietnam, TSM has reached an agreement with Comtel to become the official distributor of Comtel’s products and solutions. These include the InForm Voice platform (formerly known as NEC UNIVERGE 3C), the IP-DECT AP500 (the new generation of NEC IP-DECT AP400), DECT handsets (G277, G577), Voice Agent, Voice Log, Voice Audio Bridge, Voice Meeting, Voice Mass Notification, as well as specialized applications for hotels, factories, companies, and multi-branch enterprises. In addition, TSM provides migration solutions for transitioning NEC UC platforms to the InForm Voice (IFV) platform.
